Help, in legal matters?

Okay, so my aunt and my two cousins for were arrested when they were trying to recross the border. We don't know why, but no one will tell us a damn thing. The police won't tell us anything, and we don't know where to start. My guy cousin was taken to a foster home, but he's out now, but my other cousin is on meds for bipolar syndrome, but she can't be sent anywhere, so we guess she's with my aunt in jail, with no meds. Can anyone help with how to start, or how to get started?
