I recieved delayed confinement, how long will it be?

I originally recieved 1 day in jail but when I went down for orientation the clerk told me that I had no days to serve but I still have to go check in today with my I.D, I thank God. So I was wondering how long the process would be due to me having a baby on the way I have a meeting at the hospital so if any one could give me a estimated time I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
